The sturdy fortress that overlooks the beach of Moraira dates from the days of Felipe II (16th Century). But today the importance of this fishing port in the municipal district of Teulada, located 6km inland, is due to its tourist infrastructure. Visitors from all over Europe have discovered the magnificent environment this town offers for holidaymakers or even for residents from abroad. Sandy beaches like El Portet, L'Ampolla and Plagetes, and also the tiny rocky coves with clear blue water (L'Andragó, Punta Estrella and La Cala) make Moraira the spot for fun, sun and sea sports. The modern Moraira Yacht Club completes the round -up for seadogs.

Booking flights on the busy times of Saturday to Saturday can be difficult or expensive at the last minute. However, by flying a day earlier and returning a day later this problem can often be solved. So why not stay a at The Los Limoneros >> for a few extra days of relaxation. It is a comfortable motel style hotel with a nice pool.. It is situated at walking distance from our villa.

There are three golf courses within easy reach of the villa. Golf Ifach Club is less than ten minutes drive away. This popular 9 hole course has views over the sea to the Ifach Rock from the Club balcony plus restaurant and pool facilities. Green fees are currently 25 euros for 9 holes and clubs are available for hire. Twenty minutes drive away is another 9 hole course at Javea and an 18 hole course at La Sella

Scuba diving>>

You will find a variety of restaurants, bars, shops in walking distance or just a few minutes drive away from the villa.

Short drive to Benidorm, where you will find lots of activities (look right).
